Aim of The Workshop:

We are all dealing with ever growing list of problems ranging from recruiting the best talent to engaging employees in their work to rebuilding the business models our organizations are built upon. These are not small issues and this is only a start to the variety of issues business leaders are faced with.

What if there were only five things to thnk about? Jack Covert and Todd Sattersten have spent the last two years reading the best of business literature and found that the solutions from these great books looked back on the same problems over and over.

In this workshop, you'll learn about the five major themes, what experts and gurus have had to say about them, and how they can be addressed in your own business.

Workshop Content:

The day will be divided into seven sessions.

The morning will open with an introduction to problems and solutions with a focus on why business books are a great resource for business leaders.

The bulk of the day will be spent talking about each of the five themes:
  • Clarity of Purpose
  • Wisdom in Decision-Making
  • Bias for Action
  • Openess To Change
  • Feedback in Everything
Each theme session will include an overview, examples from The 100 Best Business Books of All Time, and a workshop segment where you'll discuss how the theme applies to your own business with other attendees.

The day will close with a session on how the five themes build on each other and how they can become a model for improved business performance.
